1997 “Slings And Arrows” from Between Thieves. This album had that hot fussy electronica that defined a modernized rock sound as well as solid lyrics. It was such a shame that their second release was an industry flop, that was niether modern, or hooky.

I just got a twitter message from Kenny Samuels of Common Bond. He updates us with the news that he is operating a recording studio called Studio 150 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is currently working on recording a new Darrell Mansfield record.
Darrell’s “Bible Study” from the Revelation album. Blues rock with an enthusiastic anti drug message.

“Don’t This Way” (1987)
For those of you who don’t know 77’s (or that do) here is the song I want played at my funeral. It is so touching, meloncholy, and human. You can feel the loss in the sound. Extreme art. From the highpoint of 77sdom Stick n Stones Album. (Another “must have” in your collection) This is a romantic rock album.
